Sweet Orleans is the flavor that started it all. I was supposed to be getting ready to go out, but something in me felt moved to make ice cream instead. Deep down, I think I knew it was a test run. I told myself, “let me see how this feels.” I wanted something smooth, something without angst. I made it, tucked it in the freezer, and left. When I came home later and tasted it, I was blown away. I knew this was it. Sweet Orleans tasted like the beginning of a good love story, and in that moment, I knew this was the start of a business.
